About us

Established in 2024 by Kieran Walsh and Ryan Hudson, Grounded Agvice delivers independent, whole-systems agronomy for farming businesses that want control, clarity and resilience, not generic programmes or product-led advice.

We work with farmers and estates who recognise that the future of profitable farming lies in balanced systems: healthier soils, disciplined cost control, strong cultural practices and decisions grounded in evidence, not habit.

Built on real-world farming experience and a whole-systems approach to independent agronomy, rooted in transparency and trust. Our philosophy reflects the constant evolution of modern farming, where regulatory pressures, environmental expectations, market shifts and climatic variability all shape how systems must adapt. We go beyond traditional agronomy by helping businesses anticipate change, reduce risk and build resilience into soils, rotations and strategic decision-making.

Our work prioritises soil health, balanced practices and sustainable cost control. We support farmers in reducing reliance on inputs, strengthening cultural controls and developing practical, progressive solutions that deliver long-term resilience. Combining field-based experience with Agri-Tech and data-led insights, we help reorganise and protect farm data to ensure it is accurate, accessible and fully owned by the business.

Ryan and Kieran, along with there team bring a hands on practical understanding of the foundations of farm management, soil behaviour, machinery capability, labour requirements, financial constraints, environmental compliance and operational risk. This allows us to connect what is technically correct with what is economically viable and operationally realistic, providing advice that is genuinely workable on farm. We work closely with other trusted specialists, from soil scientists, environmental advisors, machinery experts and digital providers, ensuring that where additional expertise is required, decisions are supported by the most relevant technical, environmental and economic insight, fully grounded in the realities of the farm system.

Grounded Agvice exists to support farmers, landowners in resilient crops, healthier soils and farming systems equipped for the future, delivered through flexible, independent consultancy grounded in trust, transparency and real-world practicality.
